Breast Cancer Patients Trial New Treatments
The Breast Cancer Research Centre-WA, located in Perth is leading the way in breast cancer research and is currently running clinical trials for two new drug treatments. The trial is expected to treat 80 patients at 20 hospitals across Australia over a 3 year period.
The Breast Cancer Research Centre-WA needed a system to help them run the clinical trials and turned to Hi-Voltage for assistance. Hi-Voltage developed a web based system which is used by the 20 hospitals across Australia to submit their results.
Each hospital completes the on-line Case Report Forms (eCRFs / CRFs), and submits them for review by the Clinical Research Associate (CRA). The CRA verifies the data entered is correct or raises a query if necessary. The data is then collated and reviewed by a statistician.
Hi-Voltage is excited to have been involved in this amazing project, and hopes that the trial is a great success.
