FileMaker publishes yet another case study relating to a Hi-Voltage software solution. This time, FileMaker interviews Melbourne based cosmetic surgery clinic, Aesthetica Image Centre to find out how our software solution has helped them improve patient care and increase productivity.
"Initially we invested $30,000 in a solution by a well known software company but the project failed miserably! So we decided to cut our losses and start over with a FileMaker solution by Hi-Voltage," explained Julie Dean, Manager, Aesthetica Image Centre.
"In addition to the surgery, we also retail creams and other products, so it was vital to have a system which could handle both the medical side of things and point of sale. FileMaker takes care of it all! At the click of a button, staff can see appointment schedules which include patient details, the procedure and its estimated duration, staff required, the room booking and the stock needed for the procedure - such as the amount of anaesthetic, syringes, gloves etc - and automatically create the invoice accordingly. The appointment calendar shows our receptionists when surgeons and consultants are available, and only allows them to book patients during rostered hours. We also have the ability to send appointment confirmations to patients via SMS. The colour coded procedures also act as a great visual reminder." said Julie.
"Our software solution is designed to meet the demanding needs of anyone who sells their time via Appointments and also has the need for a Point of Sale (POS) system. Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Dentists, Cosmetic Surgeries, Hair Dressers, Beauty Salons, Day Spas, Acupuncturists, Tanning studios, Naturopaths and the like, would benefit greatly from our software," said Tony Tanevski, Managing Director of Hi-Voltage.
