Is Code-X a plug-in? :
No, Code-X is no longer a plug-in. It used to be, however we decided to replace the plug-in with a series of FileMaker scripts and custom functions, making Code-X safer, easier to implement and more flexible.
Does Code-X work with runtime solutions?:
Yes, since Code-X is a set of FileMaker scripts and custom functions, it can be used in your runtime solutions with no effort at all.
What versions of FileMaker are supported:
Code-X has been designed to work with FileMaker 8-11. Please note: FileMaker Pro Advanced is needed for one-time setup of Code-X within your solutions because it uses custom functions, however once set up is complete, regular FileMaker Pro is sufficient.
Does the developer have access to scripts:
Yes, you as the developer have access to the Code-X scripts and custom functions and a free to make changes to Code-X however you see fit. If Code-X doesn't quite meet your needs, no problem, you can customize it your self. You are in control.
